May 24, 2016 - Annual Membership Meeting - Speaker: Greg Sharkey, The Nature Conservancy, "Questions to Start Gift Planning Conversations.”
The Annual Membership Meeting will precede a short presentation from Greg. He will be speaking with our Council on what he likes to refer to as “the softer side of gift planning.” The title of his talk is “Questions to Start Gift Planning Conversations”. Specifically, Greg will share a number of questions for donors that often lead to conversations that result in charitable gifts. He will illustrate how these questions eventually led to gifts through a series of brief stories, and will invite attendees to share their stories as well.

Members are encouraged to bring a guest or guests that would make a valuable addition to the group. There will be no charge for potential members attending this meeting.
We ask that you wear your respective work name badge to the meeting. This allows other members and guests to immediately associate you with your organization! If you do not have a name badge and RSVP for the meeting, we will have a generic nametag waiting for you.

Networking and Coffee - 8:00 – 8:30 am
As a member/guest you are welcome to stop in the cafeteria and grab a beverage and breakfast snack prior to coming into the room. At checkout simply let the cashier know you are with the MIPGC.
Education Program - 8:30 – 9:30 am
Regular monthly meetings of the MIPGC are held at Iowa Lutheran Hospital (corner of East University and Penn Avenue in Des Moines) on level B in the back of the cafeteria.
